Hi,
The current state of 3.0 is quite encouraging. I suggest a round of
testing this summer, followed by -alpha early August, -beta in late
August, -rc1 in mid-September ... and we'll see depending on the feedback.

Hi,
I'm your GSoC student for setup script rewrite. You can get
information on testing it on the wiki:
http://wiki.cihar.com/pma/Devel:Config_script . Right now it's
unusable but in a week I will have basic functionality implemented.
For language support I need this patch -
http://crackpl.eu/select_lang.lib.php.patch - commited to trunk or
have some other way of getting unfiltered language list.
Thanks,
Piotr Przybylski
Hi,
i know, i already started a discussion some time ago, but it stopped with
conclusions about some imponderableness, but i would like to see this topic
again discussed
at first i would only be interested in who on this list would agree on
changing the license - independent from any possible problems
the main reason i would prefer license change is SaaS (Software as a service)
somebody hosting software based on phpMyAdmin is not required to make his
changes available to the community
i would suggest AGPL 3.0
please comment! all!

Hi,
in 2.11 when I define a table and I put nothing in Default, all goes well.
In 3.0-dev, the Default dropdown is set to "user-defined" which causes
problems for some field types, so I suggest to put "none" there by
default, to mimic 2.11 behavior. Otherwise we have to plan all possible
field types and a correct default value for each, like is done for
VARCHAR (an empty string).

Welcome to the second release candidate for phpMyAdmin 2.11.7, a
bugfix-only release. This rc contains a security fix; an advisory will
be published in a few days.
Download info available on http://www.phpmyadmin.net.
