Ok, another point to discuss about :) In RFE 1680546, we got a request to set $cfg['DefaultTabTable'] = 'sql.php'; I agree that the most popular action done on a table would be to browse it. The RFE says that "most hosting companies don't change the default settings" so I can understand his point. Now I know that we have a browse icon next to the table name but clicking the table name is easier than reaching for this icon. So I suggest we change the default in config.default.php, as requested. If we do this, should we - remove this browse icon when the parameter is set to sql.php? - let this browse icon there for all situations? - display a different icon leading to the Structure page (if clicking the table name leads to the browse page) ? Hi, In trunk I added libraries/session_cleanup.lib.php. For the moment it only does unset($_SESSION['navi_limit_offset']); and is called at logout time for http and cookie auth_type. The idea is to get rid of choices made by the previous user. If you remember of other variables set in the session as a result of a choice from a user, please add them there. Or should we just destroy the session at logout time? I was not brave enough to test this... Marc

Hi, phpMyAdmin has been invited by a group of well-known open source projects to participate in an initiative that is meant to promote PHP 5 and break the cycle where web hosts are not encouraged to upgrade to 5 because apps works on 4. Specifically, if we agree to this, effective 5 February 2008, any new-feature release will have a minimum required PHP version of 5.2.0. I like the idea of a group of projects doing this (so no one is penalized by being the first); I am in favor of this and would like your feedback. Marc
