I really want to work with the phpMyAdmin team in GSoC'11, however it seems I first need to make a contribution to the project. Does translating phpMyAdmin count as a contribution so I can send a proposal?
The purpose of contribution is to prove that you can understand our code and provide a patch for it, so translations do not count for that.
