Tyron, Did you intend to make them more readable for the users, or in the source code?
If this was for the user, you need to use the <br /> tag.
If this was for the source code, I changed this to be easier to translate on the translation server, and to follow our practice (I don't remember seeing line feeds inside a message).
In the source code. How does it affect the translation server if i may ask?
Gettext itself enforces messages and translations to match in new lines at beginning and end of message, what forces translators to add new lines (or me to fix that :-)).
