There are few things I didn't understand as of now: Google authenticator: Right now, PMA can be used on a local network. Two-factor authentication would force internet access. Are we considering it.

First of all I don't think that 2FA needs interned access. You generate the key, share it with authentication app by displaying the QR code onthe screen and it's done.

Anyway even if it would require internet access, this will still be optional feature, so it's up to user if he wants to enable it or not.
