[Phpmyadmin-devel] Automated Unit Testing.

Hi everyone, I have been trying to setup my testing environment, and I think I have installed all the required extensions and libraries that were required to run the tests successfully. Some of these extensions include: GPM, APD and runkit. Since these are not very common libraries, maybe we can put it up on the UnitTesting wiki. When I cd into the phpmyadmin directory and run phpunit, I get a few failures, errors and also skipped tests. Is there some configuration that I am missing here? Also, when the report is being generated, PHP runs out of memory. Is there any solution other than having to increase the PHP memory limit? I'm a final year undergraduate of University of Moratuwa.Past few weeks I have checkout the source code of the project and went through it for getting some understand about it.I'm interested on test automation project.I have fully set up the testing environment and able to run tests within the currant checkout.For continuing further is there any resources to refer?It will help me to continue further. Hi , I forked the original repository(https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin.git) of PMA .. then I cloned the fork repository (https://github.com/<my user name>/phpmyadmin.git) git remote add upstream https://github.com/<my user name>/phpmyadmin.git git fetch upstream git rebase upstream master But it said that local repo is already up to date then I used following commands. git remote add orig git://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin.git git fetch orig git rebase orig master this comands worked .... but It seems to be that my forked repository(not local repo) didn't update 1)Is there any thing to do? 2) will it be a problem when I do a pull request? regards -- Dulanja Wijethunga Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka

[Phpmyadmin-devel] Session size problem on 4.0

Hi all for some time, I've seen that demo server has sometimes problems to fit into memory. Today I've finally found time to look at the issue and it turned out to be caused by huge session data (many of sessions were around 3MiB), which did contain all global variables.
