[Phpmyadmin-devel] Upgrading sf.net project

Hi maybe you've noticed, maybe not, but sf.net is slowly moving to new platform called Allura [1] and projects can opt in for upgrading. There seems to be quite a lot of improvements [2], especially in the Issue tracking (you can see Allura's own tickes [3] as an example). There are upgrading information on separate page [4] and none of not migrated things does not affect us, so I'd go for upgrade. Any comments on that? Hi, It would be annoying to display a hint on mouseover for all grid-editable cells. To help 3.5.x users learn about the double-click (which is now the default action for grid editing in 4.0), we could display a hint when the user clicks on the data row (which has the effect of selecting the row, like the checkbox). However we must take care of displaying this hint just once (per session?). Also, what about removing the "select row on click" feature? Is this intuitive? Hi Rouslan, The default value for this is 25. I have a situation where the page navigator appears when I have plenty of space in the panel. The reason is that one of the databases uses a prefix and there are about 20 databases starting with this prefix. So, it might be difficult to understand why MaxDbList is set to 100 and I don't see 100 databases on page 1. -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

Hi, Yes, it's me again, complaining about the Synchronize feature. I simply suggest to remove it for 4.0, because its shortcomings are too numerous. Besides, MySQL replication is the way to go. Have a look at the tracker [0] [1]. It's not just a data synchronization problem; I made simple tests with the sakila db and while some tables can be structure synched (like actor), others cannot (like inventory). Comments?
