Hi,
You are welcome to try this last release candidate. In the last two weeks, we improved PHP3 compatibility, merged a new SQL parser, and fixed some bugs.
Final version of 2.3.0 should be out on August 11th.
Packages are ready under http://www.phpmyadmin.net/ .
