[Phpmyadmin-devel] not working

I am getting this error message. "The <http://localhost/phpmyadmin/url.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fphp.net%2Fmanual%2Fen% 2Fbook.mysqli.php&lang=en&collation_connection=utf8_general_ci&token=3f92e86 aad7708220f4acb652ead6a95> mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. <a href="Documentation.html#faqmysql" target="documentation"><img src="themes/dot.gif" title="Documentation" alt="Documentation" class="icon ic_b_help" /></a>" I tried what was said in the Forum but then there are five config.ini files in wamp and so I chose the one that looked right but I did not get it to work. How can I get phpmyadmin to work in my system. I got the 64 bit version for my Windows 7 computer and the server part works but not the phpmyadmin part. Also, when Windows 8 comes out will that have to all change or what?
