Do you mean that users would have to download/install it separately? If it's the case, I am not really in favor of this; think of shared hosts where users don't have control over what parts of PEAR are installed, if any.
no, it will still be bundled with phpMyAdmin, but it is also available as separate library from pear
making it possible for other applications to use it, or adding features (pgAdmin, MDB2_*, SQL Syntax highlighter, ...)
In this case I would be in favor of using this new parser, if it supports all we need in PMA. Will it cover what we do in PMA_SQP_analyze() ?
