I have also had a go at making a 64x64 icon, please see the results attached.
I mostly used what was provided in the git 'data' folder, but had to split phpMyAdmin into 'php' and 'MyAdmin' for a better distribution. Also I didn't use the double border around the text that is sometimes used for the official logo due to size restrictions.
Let me know what you make of it.
Thanks, looks better than others I've seen so far, so I've started to use it immediately :-).
