I can't take it anymore, this list is getting already 35 Spam-Mails (uhm...Applications, of course ;) a day.
I vote for making this mailinglist post-on-subscription only. Is there any problem with that, and can we easily achieve that?

I thought they are viruses ... sorry can't check, they don't work in mutt :-) ... And you didn't get Movies? :-)

I absolutely agree, however I got same amount of junk to my sf.net email, so it won't help much...

Olivier (swix) is the list maintainer and has the maintainer password for list options.

that a day .. full of Virus .. and Virus Warning replies ... :-))) It should be changed in Time.

I thought this list was Phpmyadmin-devel not PhpTryandVirusMyInbox-devel, is somebody secretly developing viruses and testing them out by sending them to this list?
Over night I must of received around 30 virused emails from this list.
Can we convert this list to an anti-virus list and teach all the subscribers to install anti-virus programs, and to not open dodgy looking attachments.
If you are reading this and do not have a virus checker installed, go and install one now.
If you open email attachments and do not have a very up to date virus checker installed, your computer will be infected.
If your computer is infected you are emailing all your friends and contacts virused emails.

Today, I got 253 mails! TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY-THREE! And about 95% had some movies or applications attached, adviced me to order viagra now or told me how I could enlarge my you-know-what...!!! I am really pissed off! Since a couple of weeks ago, all my SF stuff is redirected to my GMX account derrabus@gmx.de because GMX has a server side spam filter that did its job well, so far. But today, it only catched 16 mails... SIXTEEN! OF 253 BLOODY JUNK MAILS!!!
If SF does not install some kind of spam filter - and they won't, believe me - we have to set up our devel list somwhere else or use some forum software for communicating with each other.
About Oliver: Wouldn't it be better, if an ACTIVE developer would administer the mailing lists? Sorry, but I haven't heared anything from Oliver for a while...
