reference to : https://sourceforge.net/p/phpmyadmin/feature-requests/1451/ hi marc, i was thinking of working over this feature request along with integration of another feature. In the insert page, input text fields have no check to prevent the user from giving irrelevant data, like giving characters input in int type field or out of range value. Once, form is submitted, error report is generated but i feel, a better feature would be to prevent the user from giving such value beforehand. this can be done by giving no response to key hit for irrelevant values. like in int type fields, no response should be given on character key hit. or on passing irrelevant data, some red mark or pop up message can be given. please, give your thoughts over this. -- Thanks & Regards Aayush 2nd Year Undergraduate Student Department of Mining Engineering Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad Mobile No: (+91)9162648465

[Phpmyadmin-devel] File uploading implementation in Selenium test

Hi, I was doing my research on implementing file uploads in selenium test for phpmyadmin. For remote file uploading in selenium, a *fileDetector *method has been implemented in selenium 2 which upload the file to remote server and replace the filename sent to form input automatically & perform upload. I wonder if we are using selenium 2? Also It would be great help if anyone know any alternate method to do this. Also the translation widget image me in Readme.md ( https://l10n.cihar.com/widgets/phpmyadmin-status-badge.png) does not appear. Minhaz cistoner.org

Hi I'm using phpstrom-jetbrains as my editor. Also I have installed wamp server. My git cloned folder is now in www folder of wamp server I can only go to index.php but I don't know password and username or how to change them. Actually i want to know can't I develop this in this manner. What files should I need to check first to understand code base. hasitha

hii.. I tried so hard to reproduce the bug #4289 "Rename table - fatal Javascript error" but i was not able to do so. so, i start looking for another bug and i found bug #3991 "select item in any select box with the ENTER keystroke doesn't work anywhere" which i successfully reproduced in IE 10... I would now like to know my next step. Hello all, I need some help regarding choosing Ideas from the Ideas List 2014. 1) If someone is focusing on "User Interface Section" then he has to choose all the potential tasks for GSoC Proposal or any of them ? 2) While describing the Deliverables and Project Schedule, do we have write the implementation details or what ? 3) What exactly will go in Project Details because its already known to be phpMyAdmin ?
