This is intended to show my skills for Google Summer Of Code. But not only for that. I wasn't very aware of open source projects ... I kept using phpmyadmin ... And then I heard about GSoC and attended a seminar, which is where I realized I could actually contribute. So. Yes. Hi, I am Joe from Beihang University, Beijing, China. I am major in Computer Sciences. Durning my university, PMA is very popular and a lot of my classmates are using PMA for database management. I am quite interested in the project Automated testing for PMA. I have some php unit test project experience and selenium project experience. when I try to add some unit test case, I found that the Jenkins build is failed, not very stable and without code coverage report. so I can't take a look at the code coverage report. http://ci.phpmyadmin.net/job/phpMyAdmin-continuous/ http://ci.phpmyadmin.net/job/phpMyAdmin/cloverphp/ Is there other place that I can see the code coverage report? thanks, Joe Yin

I want to start helping the community buy fixing bugs. I've got a working knowledge of PHP, HTML, C, C++ and some JavaScript. Could you please recommend a fairly easy bug for me to work on ? Many features on GSOC 2015 ideas page are assigned to different mentors. If I have some ideas about its implementation, should I include its implementation details in my project proposal or not? If not, then how should I reflect in proposal that I am interesting in implementing the feature? And since the applicant do not propose the implementation , then how will he/she be evaluated on his/her abilities to implement the feature?

Can an applicant add ideas from multiple categories ( e.g. i would like to add from both ui improvements and feature enhancements) or only a single category, in their proposal? Hi I am Kushagra and I was working on the print view css feature request https://sourceforge.net/p/phpmyadmin/feature-requests/701/ I implemented the print view using CSS for "Print View" but was having some issues with "Print View (with full texts)". I am unsure if it's a fine option to print the full texts as hidden fields so that it can easily be shown using CSS in print view. Will that have some adverse effects on the performance and webpage rendering speed and all? Or should I go ahead and implement by using hidden fields? Also, I'm a GSOC'15 aspirant and would like to work on the features listed under "Feature request project enhancements" and a few more features/bugs. So it'd be great if you let me know where to start except the Print View using CSS thing. I have knowledge of PHP MySQL jquery and various programming languages, and working on web development and software for six years.
