Hi, I personally don't use PMA but encountered a user on my system who had an issue running it because of the php_uname statement in <./libraries/php-gettext/gettext.inc>. This could be much better taken care of with the PATH_SEPARATOR constant and it will work with PHP versions 4.3 and above. (My choice to use the mailing list rather than the GitHub issue tracker is one based on their restrictive terms of service. Material Design Theme for phpmyadmin

Hello Devs, Please check this issue : https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/11811 We want to work on this enhancement. So as said by the @ibennetch I have started this thread to discuss the work on this theme. First of all can we make the left tab where all the databases are seen, we can put this tab in the mobile first responsive menu. so that on mobi devices the laft tab gets automatically converted into menu bar. I have some more suggestions will put as soon as i get response from all the members to make phpmyadmin better. Hope you all will like this suggestion. Thanks :)

Milestones for bugfix/security releases

As you know I just posted a few releases; should I set the corresponding milestone for issues such as https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/11892 ? I don't think it makes much sense to make the milestone 4.4.15 because the issue only appears in 4.4.15.3, so I'm leaning towards leaving the milestone blank. Any other thoughts?

Welcome to phpMyAdmin 4.0.10.14, 4.4.15.4, and 4.5.4.1. These are bugfix releases that correct some issues that were discovered with the recent security fixes. Getting a PHPUnit_Extensions_Selenium2TestCase not found issue

Dear Developers, I'm trying to launch the test suite by running the following command from the root of phpmyadmin folder. "phpunit -c phpunit.xml.nocoverage" But, I'm receiving the following error. ' *PHP Fatal error: Class 'PHPUnit_Extensions_Selenium2TestCase' not found in /my_local_path/phpmyadmin/test/selenium/TestBase.php on line 18'* The installation of phpunit was done via composer and it was successful. Could you think of any other problem which might be causing this issue for me ? PHP version 5.6.17 PHPUnit version 5.1.4 Thanks in advance. -- Best Regards Lakmal

Welcome to phpMyAdmin 4.5.4, which contains regular bug fixes and a number of security fixes. The phpMyAdmin project also announces the release of versions 4.4.15.3 (a security release compatible with PHP versions as old as 5.3.7 and MySQL 5.5), and 4.0.10.13 (a security release compatible with PHP versions as old as 5.2 and MySQL 5). GSoC project on automated tests (Selenium)

Hi Devs, I'm Lakmal Padmakumara, currently following my masters in Computer Science at TUM, Germany. While looking for an interesting summer project , I encountered this proposal <https://wiki.phpmyadmin.net/pma/GSoC_2016_Ideas_List#Selenium_testsuite> included in your ideas list for GSoC 2016. I have prior experience with selenium2 framework through one of my previous internship and also to have high interest in the area of automated testing for web applications. I also noticed some work has been already done in the previous GSoC sessions (2013). I would be thankful if you can let me know whether this idea is still open for new students and also what would be a good starting point, so I can play around a little bit and contribute something even before the proposal period. -- Best Regards Lakmal
