Hi all
earlier today, I've created QA_4_6 branch for maintenance of upcoming
4.6 release. Please merge all fixes there as well.

Hi
looking at the milestones [1] and remembering past discussions, we
should be getting ready for releasing 4.6. It's planned for release in a
month, so it's about time to do feature freeze...
Do we want to keep this schedule? If so, I suggest branching QA_4_6 soon.

I am running phpMyAdmin 4.5.4.1 on my FreeBSD server with MySQL 5.5.43 and I am unable to work with MySQL account passwords because of the Authentication Plugin 'Native MySQL authentication'
This 'plugin' errors my MySQL commands so that I cannot create, change, edit, or set passwords by adding 'IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password' to my SQL string.
To get this to work I have to take the SQL command that errors, remove that entry, and manually enter it in the SQL tab as a command line to create a user.
I cannot find any confirmation setting, plugin, or compiling option to turn this off.
Does anyone know how I can disable this feature so my phpMyAdmin works again?

Hi,
I'm Buddhi Vikasitha, an undergraduate of the Department of Computer
Science and Engineering at University of Moratuwa.
I thought about contributing to major projects while doing my studies at
the university. Searching for some potential opportunities to work, I saw
that you offer student developers to work with your projects. Also there
was the link to GSoC 2016 project details.
I was very happy you have programs for students. I would like to know and
join if there is any more programs offered for students than letting us
contribute by code. But even with contributing to the phpMyAdmin Community
I have a lot to know yet.
Can I know some answers to my questions? About how can I get started, what
kind of work is there, and how can I contribute to your projects, how to
get to know your people from here, etc. is what need to know. A more
detailed explanation than the webpage is what I seek for. At GSoC 2016 I am
more than happy to contribute to you because contributing to a major
project in the world is what I am going achieve these days. I need
information about the above points if you are happy to provide them.
Hope you get back to me with a reply to this. Thank you very much.
Dear Developers,
I am working on some sort of bugs on pma. I'd like to know how to test my
change in the source code. I am running xampp server on my local machine
but I can't find any changes in pma after changing source code.

Hello developers,
I have tried to setup error reporting server in my local windows
environment. Is it possible to develop this in windows environment or do I
need to switch to linux ?

Hello Devs,
Please check this issue : https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/11811
We want to work on this enhancement. So as said by the @ibennetch I
have started this thread to discuss the work on this theme.
First of all can we make the left tab where all the databases are
seen, we can put this tab in the mobile first responsive menu. so that
on mobi devices the laft tab gets automatically converted into menu
bar. I have some more suggestions will put as soon as i get response
from all the members to make phpmyadmin better.
Hope you all will like this suggestion.
Thanks :)
