Would it be a good idea to add a checkbox "pre-MySQL 4.1-style export" on the SQL export sub-page, so users can read the dump on MySQL 4.0.x?
I submit this idea but did not have time to check all the implications about the data.

It's somewhere in RFE tracker... It would be nice to have it...

Thanks for pointing the presence of this in the RFE. Well, as long as it's in the RFE we are covered :)
Too many things to do, not enough time... I still have not finished the MySQL 4.1-style comment implementation, although I hope it will be ready for 2.6.1-rc1 this Sunday.
