Good Evening,
I am not sure if this is the correct place to pose this question, but I feel the members of this list will definitely know the answer.
I am working on a phpMyAdmin clone in C# that will operate on MSSQL. I feel the user interface that your team has created is far more intuitive, and the pain of having to work with the .NET platform has led me to start this project.
Up to this point, I have been using the icons from phpMyAdmin as placeholders. The question I wish to pose is if the icons are also licensed under the GPL and would have to replace them in my project or if I could simply continue using them. I plan to release the project under some open source license, but would also like to sell it to larger organizations which decide to use it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Sonny
P.S. I honestly lament no longer being able to use your product.

Hi Sonny, If you are talking about the icons in the "original" and "darkblue_orange" themes distributed with the usual phpMyAdmin kit, I believe that these are licensed under the GPL.
