Hi, I have received some code that would make sense merging, but it uses a library that is licensed under the Apache license (v2).

Now, the fun part is that the position of the Apache Foundation: http://www.apache.org/foundation/licence-FAQ.html#GPL

differs from the position of the FSF: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#GPLIncompatibleLicenses

about the compatibility of the two licenses.

Has someone ever dealt with a case like this?

(You remember that we removed some non-GPL code in 2006 from our code base.)
