No but I propose this:
2005-10-23 : freeze new messages, message to translators
2005-10-30: 2.7.0-rc1 and code freeze (only critical bug fixes accepted)
Looks okay to me, I have nothing big left for it. However I'd leave larger gap for translations as there are lot's of new messages (the most completely translated translations are missing 150 strings).

And how about releasing beta in this time? There are many changes and beta will attract more people than cvs snapshots for testing.
