Hello, My name is Jayesh Anandani.I am new to the open source world.I have worked with phpmyadmin for a quite a time now.I have read the homepage of gsoc 2012,idea list,applicant guide and many other pages but still i am confused on what to start with. I don't know how to start contributing and what all is necessary in order to fix the bugs!It would be very kind of you if you guide me for the same!

I assume you already had a look at our bug tracker [0] and feature requests [1]. We also have one challenge left in our contest [2]. The idea is that you have a look at a bugreport, try to reproduce it, try to understand what goes wrong, look in the code where it goes wrong, figure out a way to solve it and write a patch. That's the kind of skills we expect from applicants for GSoC. If you are stuck or need some feedback on how to best solve a bug, you can discuss it on the developers mailing list. We expect you to come with some specific questions or proposals.
