I created the git branch [1] for the project. Here is my blog [2] and I saw that it is already included to phpmyadmin planet. I'll start writing the posts on the project by tomorrow. I updated the schedule of my proposal as you mentioned [3].

Do you plan to update jQuery? 1.5 has some XHR API changes, and writing JS code for 1.4 would mean more work to update JavaScript code. I think 1.6 can be safely used, as it should get stable by the time GSOC coding period begins.
