Well can't find a way to fix this bug yet and I think this can't be done. BTW the current authentification system is not so good because it only works with Apache and php loaded as a module... very restrictive conditions as to me. Unfortunatly I can't find time to think about a better way to implement such a feature. So you can release a new version when you want to.
