Hello everyone,
Excited to see PHPMyAdmin in GSoC 2017.
I'm Piyush, second year engineering student from Delhi, India and
interested in taking part in GSoC under PHPMyAdmin.
One question, what will be the main criteria for selection? Is it the
project proposal or our contributions to PHPMyAdmin?
Can you help me to point out how is that possible?
Because while using google authenticator some data will be sent to the server then only we will be able to receive the message on our phone right?
And how will the people not having android or ios phone use google authenticator app?

Hello
I am Mohammad Luqman currently pursuing MCA from AMU,Aligarh. I have
submitted a fix for issue for bug #12948. In my opinion a simple config
change in hourMax value for the timepicker plugin is enough. Since I am a
newbie here and wants to participate in GSOC 2017, i need some suggestions
if i am wrong. If someone reviews the commit and may provide their thoughts
that will be thankful.
Hi
This is Gnaneshwar. I am studying Btech Second Year at IIT
BHUBANESWAR. I came to know about the GSOC very recently, I wanted to work
with PHPMyAdmin to improve my skills in coding and developing.
I am using PHPMyAdmin from past 1 year. I need some task to prove myself
that I am capable of. I am a full stack developer, known languauges: html5
& css3, javascript, MySQL, php, C, java, Frameworks: bootstrap,
Angularjs. So please assign me a task.
Regards
Gnaneshwar

Hello everyone,
I am Sharan, a graduate student in CS at UNC Charlotte.
I am excited about participating in GSOC-2017 for PMA which has really
helped me in the past from a junior developer to a full stack developer.
Since, I am a newbie here, any kind of suggestions about where to start,
are welcome.
Thank You,
Sharan Girdhani

Hi,
My name is Osaid and I think Michal may know me as I have made a few
contributions with his help.
I am interested in applying for GSOC under PMA and the selenium
testing idea interests me. However I haven't once used selenium. So is
it a prerequisite for applying ?
Also I am a bit nervous as I don't want to screw things up by applying
for selenium testing and then ending up not being able to complete it.
Thanks :D
Hello,

Hello prospective GSoC students
The GSoC website allows you to share your proposal as a draft with us.
This will allow us to comment on it and will help you to make the
proposal better. It's good idea to use this approach and submit your
proposal as soon as you're ready to receive feedback on it.
