Hi, i just want to leave a note for all not already recognized this you can enable displaying of PHP errors (NOTICEs, WARNINGs, aso.) by enabling $cfg['Error_Handler']['display'] = true; in your config.inc.php errors will be displayed in the footer of the page, if an error cannot immediately displayed it will be displayed on next page where possible f.e. NOTICES happen in index.php will be displayed in main.php footer -- Sebastian

' WHERE db_name = \'' . PMA_sqlAddslashes($db) . '\' AND table_name = \'\' AND column_name = \'(db_comment)\''; i did not get the point, cause this will always return only one row i think you just missed to correctly refactor the whole code for this function revision 6758 -- Sebastian

Hi, Since PMA 3.0.x will require MySQL 5.0+, we could drop support for this older extension. Well, if we keep it, at least we should emit a warning about the extension not supporting all MySQL 5.0 features. Marc

[Phpmyadmin-devel] Basic TIMESTAMP Question

I am using version 2.8.0.1 as supplied by ixWebHosting and am having trouble adding a TIMESTAMP field which I require to update each time a record is added or updated. If I add a record via phpMyAdmin interface everything is OK, but when I try to use a php file, nothing is added to the database until I delete the TIMESTAMP field. IXwebhosting have suggested I pay $80 per hour to them as it is a coding error, but I'm not convinced. I am, however, a novice user!
