IRC meeting for tomorrow?

Hi team, Tomorrow is the scheduled IRC meeting. We don't really have anything on the agenda, but as a team we should finalize our plans for GSoC and for the upcoming team meeting FOSDEM. If anyone wishes to discuss this on IRC, we can plan to meet, but we could also discuss it via email since I don't see too many specific questions to address at this time. Porting PHPMYADMIN

Hi! I am new to this list. I am currently developing a new Web-Server. I use my own SAPI-Module on Zend-Engine PHP 7.3.0 When trying to run phpMyAdmin (4.8.4) Setup, the screen stays blank. If I remove the ob_start(); from phpMyAdmin, than at least the setup screen appears (Like it should be, CSS and all the stuff is loaded) - but thats all. How does phpMyAdmin handle Output-Buffering in general? Best regards Andy

Difficulties with mysql admin.

Hello Trying to configure Responsive MYSQLi User Registration System V6 and getting the attached screen when trying to import the new tables. I get the error : 1046 no database selected. Any body have any thoughts on why this is happening? (I am a mysql novice). Thanks. There is probably more information available but I don't know what to add. Thanks, Ken

Releasing the next version

I think I'd like to release the next version, probably 4.8.4.1, in the next few days. You can track some issues at https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/milestone/247 (and https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/milestone/247?closed=1). We're accumulating a number of fixes, but most of them are regressions from the security fix introduced in 4.8.4, so in those cases making a quick 4.8.4.1 release would make sense. I wonder what everyone thinks about this, are we good to do 4.8.4.1 soon? I think the view issue (13788) and the urldecode issue (14791) should probably go to 4.8.5, but the rest seem reasonable to put in 4.8.4.1. I'd probably include #14794, the issue about Text_Plain_Sql, in 4.8.4.1, even though it isn't a new issue it's a very small typo so I think the argument could be made to go either way with it. Any other thoughts? Isaac

Hi, The definition of locale in linux is tr_TR.utf-8, and character converters such as strtolower and strtoupper are defeated in php. example: strtolower ('Innodb') does not return us as innodb. solution setlocale(LC_CTYPE, 'C') with local information should be changed or functions such as mb_strtolower should be used. for this reason phpmyadmin bug is occurring. Hi, I am using xampp 7.2.12 on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04). Some sections of phpMyAdmin do not appear in the table operations tab? eg table settings, table copy. There's only a table move section.
