Hi all just in case you did not notice, various services at sf.net are disabled due to exploit [1]. One of things which are disabled is access to files on webhost, so it is not possible to update it and it keeps the content from time before this event. Hi all, I was looking into the bug 'ENUM and SET cannot have Binary option' (Bug ID: 3152931), which is relevant to the version 3.3.8.1. Even though the bug description is not vague, I haven't been able to reproduce the bug on either version 3.3.8.1 or current master so far. Has anybody been successful in reproducing this bug? Hi Marc, I'm Thilanka Kaushalya who is a 4th(final) year Computer science and Engineering undergraduate from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I have good experiences on using phpMyAdmin for couple of years and I'm a fan of it. I found that phpMyAdmin community have reported some project ideas for the 2011 GSOC session. I'm interested on those ideas you have posted, specially "AJAXify Interface" and I found that you suppose to be the mentor for that project. On the wiki there are a list of tasks which were assigned to the 2010 GSOC session here<http://wiki.phpmyadmin.net/pma/Devel:AJAXify_Interface>. I went through those and is there any tasks left out of those, if so I could work on those prior to the time line and can get a better understanding on the architecture and get my self familiar with the code base. Hi, in the forum we got at least two complaints from people who don't want to use the new AJAX mode. In one case, this uncovered a bug but in general it might be a good idea to offer a configuration option to disable all AJAX behavior. Comments? -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

Hi, I came across this on the GSoC ideas page, I believe adding AJAX to phpMyAdmin's interface would be a great idea. I am a sophomore engineering student from India and have some experience in jQuery and AJAX. I would love to contribute to this through GSoC or otherwise, so where should I start?. Vivek Narayanan

Hi, after seeing a feature request to have an option to disable the picker (to work faster), I am wondering if we should not add an icon to trigger the picker, instead of its automatic display when clicking the field. Hi, I don't find darkblue_orange particularly attractive. For 3.4 I suggest to move it to custom themes and replace it with an updated version of either Paradice or Arctic Ocean (or maybe ClearView). I still think we should keep our habit of including two themes in the kit. I would even suggest to make the new theme the default one (if the chosen theme's author agrees); the "original" theme is seen by some as being outdated (but AFAIK the code relies on its presence). -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info
