Hi All! I've just updated the table properties page with a link to flush tables. At this time this link is displayed among the "browse...drop" ones at the top of the page but I wonder if it's a right place for it: maybe it's better to put it near the "drop table" link at the bottom of the page since it won't be used very often and it requires the "reload" privilege to be run. Any thought? What do you think of the 2.2.1-rc1 release? Is it stable enough to become a plain 2.2.1 now or should we build a rc2 before? Hi All! According to the xhtml1.0 specifications, the valid splitter for variables in urls is "& amp;" and not "&". Since most browsers support this and some recent ones no long support the old "&" splitter I've updated about all the scripts in the CVS tree. It would be nice to widelly test these changes with as many browser as possible to ensure PMA still works and if not, which browsers needs a workaroud if possible. Hi Tobias! Well I'm afraid I have to tell you this bug has already been reported and fixed a long time ago in the cvs tree ;) Anyway thanks for the report. BTW there are many problems with links in the phpWizard forum and then most of the users post now at least twice their messages in it. Not so fine... Hello, there is a bug in the current release of phpMyAdmin (2.2.0-final) when inserting a string containing "++". The "++" will get stripped out. -Tobias

Hi Geert! To get the available databases for an user from MySQL you may use the "SHOW GRANTS" statement. But: 1) it's available since 3.23 only (implementation before this release is buggy) 2) this statement seems not to return the dbs avilable to the "anonymous" user while each user may use these dbs. No, rights are for mysql, no doubts in my head ;-) BUT, 1) in advanced auth, 'only_db' can be an array of db so if rights are correctly set and 'only_db' too : I'm not sure I'm getting the problem ?! 2) much more important : in virtual hosting, you can't change mysql parameters : it's not advanced auth but the 'only_db' feature is really important in real life use of Pma in such environments. Advanced auth is getting really a difficult problem (bookmark, only db ...) : maybe the config.inc.php3 should be split in two with a config_multi-user.inc.php3 much cleaner, maybe smarter and easy to administer.
