Hi,
would it require much work to make a second package with UTF-8 lang
files only?
saving half the size
and we could see in the download statistics what is prefered/required

Yes ;)
But I know, it would be really difficult to support such a thing.
An other thing:
Is it possible, that the collation/charset dropdown may be
configurable - hiding none needed charsets? This may be usefull to.
Sample:
I only need UTF-8 charsets, latin-1 charsets and perhabs ISO-Charsets
for my region.
If I disable the not needed charsets in config.inc.php the dropdown box
will always show all available charsets (the not needed too).
I know, that the charset/collation dropdown box is filled by all available
charsets/collations from the MySQL-Server.
But hidding some not needed may be really usefull.

Hi,
did you run phpdoc on a system without mysqli?
normally all PHP built in functions should be linked, as i know phpdoc
automatically fetches PHP built in functions (in latest releases) - but
on your generated doc mysqli-functions/constants are not linked
just a minor issue, of course

Hi,
I recreated MAINT_2_9_0 based on QA_2_9 so it contains the security
fixes. From MAINT_2_9_0, 2.9.0.1 will be released (probably this
week-end since no negative feedback from "2.9.1-rc1" was received).
Marc
Hi,
as suggested by Sebastian, maybe the next stable version with security
fixes should be named 2.9.0.1.
Is it too late, now that 2.9.1-rc1 has been released? I think it would
be better to name it 2.9.0.1.
Marc
Hi,
can someone confirm that 2.9.1-rc1 does not use the chosen language kept
in pma_lang when we close and reopen the browser? Here, it reverts to
English.

Welcome to the first release candidate for phpMyAdmin 2.9.1.
This version contains security fixes; more details will follow when
releasing the final 2.9.1 version. Your testing is appreciated.

Marc Delisle, for the team.
Hi,
I think we should have indications in Documentation.html about
$GLOBALS['cfg']['FontFamily'] = '';
$GLOBALS['cfg']['FontFamilyFixed'] = 'monospace';
